Our Society is facing many challenges, large numbers of seemingly unsurmountable problems that are rapidly converging at a Global Level. It is often tempting to believe our "so called Leaders", when they tell us that the solutions lie in their hands, that they are the holders of the "received wisdom", the only solutions capable of getting us out of the developing mess. The sad truth is that most if not all of their solutions do nothing more than work around the margins on symptoms, and as a result, nothing really changes, the hope of all the shallow election promises very quickly turning into despair.

To truly change our World, it will require a re-think, a determination to uncover and deal with root causes, the underlying structure, operation and culture of our Society and the "life consuming" daily actions that we all take that do little more than re-inforce and perpetuate the very destructiveness we so desperately want to eliminate.
