This beautifully presented Ladies Bicycle has been lovingly restored in our Workshop. It has been fitted, for your safety, with a new chain, new gear / brake cables and casings, new rear freewheel, new brake levers, tyres, tubes and Alloy Wheels.
We have selected the very best Second-Hand Components from our stock, including handlebars, seat, mudguards, front chain ring, front and rear derailleurs and brake calipers, and have meticulously refurbished them, so that your new bike retains its originality as much as possible.
This bicycle has undergone a ground-up restoration. The Frame has been fully repainted in metallic blue duco with contrasting hand painted Silver detail, and all bearings have been cleaned or where necessary, replaced, re-greased and re-assembled.
It is a delight to ride and will provide years of safe, reliable, comfortable and stylish riding pleasure.

They are also available for a lower price in their original paint condition, seen here to the left. The Frames are washed and polished before re-assembly, to bring out the best in the original paint and to help protect it in the future.

Note: Following several enquiries, these bikes have been re-fitted with their lower 'outriggers' and Aluminium Checker-plate Top Decks, see photo's below.
Purchased in early 2009, these bikes have covered approximately 8,000 Km's in day to day use and touring.
They have been substantially modified and upgraded from their original configuration, serviced regularly and are in exceptional condition with only minor scuffs to the paintwork.
They come with:
21 Speed Shimano Running Gear, Including MF TZ31 14-34 Mega Range Rear Freewheel for extra easy load carrying and hill climbing, Shimano Tourney Front and Rear Derailleurs, Shimano Hyperdrive 42-32-22 Crankset, Shimano Combination V-Brake / Gear Shifters, Drink Bottle Holders (hard to get on Gen 1's), Center Stands, Front / Rear and Wheel Reflectors, WTB All Terrain Front Tyres and Kenda 'Phat' Rear Tyres.
They have been modified and fitted with rear tow hitches, enabling the use of a bicycle trailer for even greater load carrying capacity. The bikes come with the original lower 'outriggers' which can be re-fitted, but would need some re-engineering due to the changes made for the tow bars. (These have now been re-fitted).

These Yuba's have a massive 200 Kg Load Carrying Capacity, are a 'one size fits all' frame, are amazingly comfortable and 'cruisy' to ride, and, as we have found, will attract attention from onlookers wherever you go!
